NewGroup devotionals, every day
A photo of your time with God, a short insight and a group that notices when you go missing. Selah turns your devotional into shared consistency.
For small groups, youth, discipleship and friends in faith.

Why Selah
Selah appears more than seventy times in Scripture, almost always in the middle of a psalm — a pause to weigh what was just said. The app turns that pause into a habit: every day, a moment with God; every week, brothers and sisters walking alongside you.
Pause. Reflect. Walk in community.
How it works
Create a group for your small group or join with the code, link or QR code a friend sent you. It’s a closed space: only people who were invited can take part.

NORTE7
Take a photo of your Bible, your journal or your prayer spot, write what God spoke to you and, if you like, mark the passage you read. Without a photo and an insight, the day doesn’t count.
Proverbs 3:5–6

Every day adds to your streak and to the weekly scoreboard. Your group sees who has checked in and who hasn’t yet — and no one falls behind without being remembered.

Features
Everything that helps a group stay together — and nothing that distracts from the pause.
The scoreboard rewards distinct days with a check-in, not whoever posts fastest. It resets every Monday — you can always start again.
The app shows who hasn’t checked in today. One tap on “Encourage” sends a ready-made message that arrives as a notification. One per person per day, no spam.
The verse of the day in the morning and, at night, a reminder only if you haven’t checked in yet. On your home screen, the widget shows your streak and how many in your group have checked in today.
Like and comment on your brothers’ and sisters’ insights. Encouragement that arrives at the right time.
No public profile and no strangers. Your photos stay private and only show up for the members of your group.
Your first check-in, 7 days, 21, 40, 100… Every milestone and every new record gets a celebration, with a verse to keep you going.
For whoever cares for the group: participation over the last four weeks, who is drifting away and open prayer requests, with an encourage button next to each name.
Delete one of your posts whenever you want, and your streak is recalculated. See something out of place? Report it: the post leaves the feed until the group admin decides, and no one finds out who reported it.
Turn your check-in into a vertical card with the photo, the insight and the day’s reading, ready for Instagram, WhatsApp or any app. Only your own posts: what belongs to the group stays in the group.
Bible reading
When you check in, say which passage you read: a chapter, a few verses or several passages on the same day. Selah keeps track of your path through Scripture — your reading days, the chapters you’ve read and how much of the Bible you’ve covered.

Prayer wall
Post a request and your group intercedes with you. The wall brings together the requests from all your groups, and when you ask, you choose which group it goes to. Every “I prayed for this” arrives as a notification for the person who asked, with a word of encouragement if you want. When the answer comes, the testimony lets everyone who prayed know.

No. Selah has no Bible reader — you read in your paper Bible or in the app you already use. Selah takes care of what comes next: recording the moment and the passage you read, sharing what you learned and staying consistent with your group. There’s a verse every day for inspiration.
Yes. Selah was made for closed rooms: without a group, the feed is empty. You can create yours in seconds and invite people by code, link or QR code, or join with someone’s invite.
Only the members of the groups where you posted. Photos are stored privately and only delivered to people who belong to that group. There are no public profiles.
When you check in, tap “Bible reading” and pick the book, the chapters and, if you like, the verses. You can add several passages on the same day. The passages show up on your post for the group; your history — the calendar, how much of the Bible you’ve read and the book-by-book map — lives on your profile and only you see it. It’s optional: your check-in counts just the same without it.
Your own, yes. On any of your check-ins, tap share to create a Stories-sized card with the photo, the insight and the day’s reading, and send it to Instagram, WhatsApp or another app. Other members’ posts can’t be shared.
In a club, it counts how many different days you checked in during the week (Monday to Sunday), and the scoreboard restarts every Monday. In a challenge, it adds up the days with a check-in from the start to the end of the period. Posting several times on the same day doesn’t count extra. In case of a tie, the longest streak wins.
Your streak goes back to zero, but your record stays saved on your profile. To help, the app reminds you at night (at the time you choose) only on days when you haven’t checked in yet.
Any period from 2 to 365 days. When creating a group there are ready-made templates: Lent, Holy Week, Easter to Pentecost and Advent, with dates calculated for the year, plus 21 days of prayer, Daniel Fast and 40 days with God.
Group updates (likes, comments, intercessions, words of encouragement, testimonies and nudges) and reminders that live on your device: the morning verse, the evening streak reminder and times to pray for a request. Everything can be adjusted or turned off in settings.
A screen for the group creator, with participation over the last four weeks, who has been missing for a few days and open prayer requests. Only the leader sees it, and you can encourage each person right from there.
Tap the three dots on the post, choose “Report” and pick a reason. The post is hidden right away and the group admin decides whether to keep it or remove it; the person who reported it isn’t identified. If the post is removed, the author gets a notice. The admin can also remove a post directly from the menu, and you can delete your own posts whenever you want.
Yes. Be part of your small group, your youth group and a challenge with friends at the same time, and switch between them with one tap. The prayer wall brings together the requests from all of them.
With Apple, Google or email. If you got an invite link before creating your account, it’s saved and you join the group as soon as you finish signing up.
Yes, at any time, in the app settings. Your profile, check-ins, photos, reading history, prayer requests, notifications and device registration for push notifications are permanently deleted.
Download Selah, create your group’s room and send the invite. Tomorrow morning, you’ll already be starting together.
